MySQL Create Instance

Use this dialog box to create a new MySQL Server instance to the system.

Server Name

Displays the name of the MySQL Server.  Use this space to change this name.

SA User Name

Displays the name of the database administrator who has permissions to perform jobs.  Use this space to change this name.

Account Password

Displays the password for the SA User Name.  Use this space to change this password.

Confirm Password

Retype the Account Password to confirm it.

Binary Directory

Displays the path of the binary directory for the instance. This directory contains MySQL binaries. Click Browse to change this path.

Log Data Directory

Displays the path of the binary logs location. If binary log is disabled on the MySQL server, then the path of the data directory is displayed. Click Browse to change this path.

Config File

Displays the path of the configuration file for the instance.  Click Browse to change this path.

Port/Socket File

Displays the path of the Port (for windows)/socket file (for Unix clients) for the instance. Click Browse to change this path.

Log Backup Storage Policies

Specifies the storage policy to be used in transaction log backup jobs for the instance.
