Alerts and Notifications - Alert Rules

Alert rules are user-defined conditions created using SQL queries. Once the custom alert rule is created, it is available in the add alert wizard and can be used to create alerts.

Alert rules can be made more flexible by adding user inputs. Once inputs are added, users can set alert criteria when they use the custom alert rule to create an alert.
