Custom Calendars - Getting Started

Organizations that use custom calendars can define and use these calendars for Schedules, Data Aging and Auxiliary Copy operations in a CommCell. Custom Calendars can be used to customize the following:

  • Define the months in the year, which includes the start of the year and the number of months within the year.
  • Define the days in a month, which includes the start of the month and the number of weeks with the month.

Use the following steps to define a custom calendar that starts with April 1st as first day of the year.

  1. From the CommCell Console toolbar, click Control Panel.

Under the Schedule section, click Custom Calendars.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Specify the following details for the new calendar:

    • Select April as starting month of the year from the Begin Month drop-down list.
    • Click the Define Custom Months check box.

Click Apply and then click OK.

  5. The Number of Years defined changes from 0 to 1 as months for a single year is configured.
