Log Monitoring Configuration

To monitor the logs in your environment, you must configure the following elements:

The CommCell administrator, or any other user designated by the CommCell administrator, such as application or system administrators, can configure the log monitoring elements.

Users designated by the CommCell administrator must belong to a user group that has the Agent Management or Administrative Management capability. The user group should have the following associations:

  • For monitoring policies configured with the On Demand template, the user group must be associated with the clients or client groups that will be used as staging server for log file uploads.
  • For all other monitoring policies, the user group must be associated with the clients or client groups that contain the logs to be monitored.
