Supported SAP Oracle Util File Parameters

The following table specifies the SAP Oracle init<SID>.utl parameters, that you use when you perform command line jobs.

The number of streams for the backup and restore.
srcCrossClient srcCrossClient

<Client_Name>

Example:

srcCrossClient
sap_sross_cn

The short source client name as defined in the CommCell Console.

This is required for cross machine BR*Tools command line restores.

srccrossdbname srccrossdbname

<Client_Name>

Example:

srccrossdbname
sap_ora_cross_client_cn

The source client database instance name as defined in the CommCell Console.

This is required for cross machine BR*Tools command line restores.

CvSrcClient CvSrcClient

<Client_Name>

Example:

CvClientName
sap_ora__src

Used by BRBACKUP for Split-Mirror Disk (Splitint Support) backups.
CV_restCopyPrec      CV_restCopyPrec

<Copy precedence>

Example:

CV_restCopyPrec

The copy precedence of the backup storage policy copy that you want to restore.

Note: If the data does not exist on the specified copy, the restore fails (even if the data exists on another copy of the same storage policy).

The SnapProtect instance name.
CvClientName CvClientName

<Client_Name>

Example:

Name of the client defined in the CommCell Console.

Do not set this parameter if you use BRARCHIVE to archive online redo logs.
