Use this dialog box to add or remove nodes for the Microsoft Hyper-V client.

Click this button to add nodes to the Microsoft Hyper-V Client. It is recommended to include all servers from a Hyper-V cluster as nodes in the Microsoft Hyper-V Client.

You can add any server as a node if it has Virtual Server iDataAgent installed on it.

Click this to remove hosts from the list of nodes in the Microsoft Hyper-V Client.

Clients / Client Groups

Displays the list of nodes included in the Microsoft Hyper-V client.

The first node in the list will act as a Coordinator node. The Coordinator will assign required resources (e.g. streams) to each node. If a client group is added in the list of nodes, the first client in the client group will become the Coordinator.

You can change the order of the nodes in the list by clicking the up arrow or the down arrow  .

All the virtual machines on each Hyper-V host will get backed by that host. The virtual machines on one server will not be assigned to another server for backup.

Displays the name of the client computer on which this instance is found.
