Subclient Properties (Content)
Use this tab to select the contents of a new subclient or to change the content of an existing subclient. The objects on the vCenter server, such as hosts, datastores, folders, and virtual machines, can be selected as the content of the subclients. You can either select the content manually by browsing the vCenter server or you can define rules for automatic content selection.
Click this button to browse the vCenter and select the objects on the vCenter as content of the subclient.
Click this button to add rules for automatic content selection.
Select any rule from the Contents of subclient list and Click this button to edit the rule.
Select any rule from the Contents of subclient list and Click this button to delete the rule.
Click this button to view the list of all the virtual machines included in the subclient.
If you have defined any filters for the subclient, the filtered virtual machines will be excluded from the list.
Contents of subclient:
Displays a list of vCenter objects included as content for this subclient. This list has following two columns:
Displays the type of content.
If you are using multiple rules for automatic content selection, the content type will be displayed as Rule.
In a default subclient of any backup set, All unprotected VMs appear as the type of content. It indicates that all the virtual machines from a Hyper-V Cluster are automatically included in the default subclient of any backup set.
Displays the name of the content.
If you are using multiple rules for automatic content selection, the content name will be displayed as Rule. If you move the pointer over the rule, the description of the rule will appear.
