Tracking the Location of a Laptop Client from the Web Console

You can track the location of a laptop client from the Web Console. The laptop client location is fetched every 24 hours when the client is online. In addition, if the laptop client is behind a firewall, another attempt to fetch the location takes place every time the client connects through the firewall.


  1. From the Web Console, on the My Applications page, click My Data.
  2. On the My Data page, click the Computers tab.
  3. In the Actions column, click Show Details next to the computer_name that you want to track.


On the client summary page, under Last Seen Location, an interactive map marks the latest geographical location of the laptop client.
