Tracking the Location of a Laptop Client from the Web Console
You can track the location of a laptop client from the Web Console. The laptop client location is fetched every 24 hours when the client is online. In addition, if the laptop client is behind a firewall, another attempt to fetch the location takes place every time the client connects through the firewall.
- From the Web Console, on the My Applications page, click My Data.
- On the My Data page, click the Computers tab.
- In the Actions column, click Show Details next to the computer_name that you want to track.
On the client summary page, under Last Seen Location, an interactive map marks the latest geographical location of the laptop client.
