Configuring the Edge Attachment Store

To use the Outlook Add-In package for Edge Attachment Store, you must configure the ObjectStore for the Outlook Add-In. Complete the following tasks:

  1. Install the following components:
  2. If there is a firewall between the Web Server and the clients, configure the firewall so there is connectivity between the Web Server and the clients. See Firewall - Getting Started - Overview.
  3. Configure the Analytics Engine.

    The Analytics Engine is required to index the data in the ObjectStore. Configure at least one Edge Drive Analytics Engine on a MediaAgent in your CommCell group.

  4. Create and configure an ObjectStore outlook add-in client.

    The Outlook Add-In ObjectStore client defines the Analytics Engine and storage policy to be used for the ObjectStore. You will also assign external user groups with permissions to access the ObjectStore.
