MediaAgent Properties (Analytics Engine)
Configure Analytics Engine
When selected, enables the Analytics Engine on the MediaAgent. The Analytics Engine is used to index metadata from backups for various different features.
Specifies the location on the MediaAgent where the index for Analytics jobs will be stored.
Java Max Memory (MB)
Use this option to allocate the maximum Java Virtual Memory (JVM) limit.
Available Analytics Engine Type
A list of the analytics roles that have not been configured on the Analytics Engine.
Configured Analytics Engine Type
A list of the analytics roles that have been configured on the Analytics Engine. Data for the roles in this list are stored in the index directory on the Analytics Engine.
Analytics Options (General)
When selected, file data will be included in the analytics operation.
When selected, email data will be included in the analytics operation.
Select Analytics Engine on MediaAgent
When selected, allows you to associate a MediaAgent for the analytics operation. The list contains the names of all MediaAgents configured with the Analytics Engine in the CommCell.
Lists the clients associated with the Storage Policy that will be excluded from the analytics operation.
Lists the clients associated with the Storage Policy that will be included with the analytics operation.
Number of Readers
Allows you configure the data streams used by an analytics operation.
- Number of Streams
When selected, allows you to specify the number of data streams that will be used at the same time during the analytics operation.
- Allow Maximum
When selected, the maximum number of data streams will be automatically used at the same time during the analytics operation.
Clean Up Analyzed Data (if any)
When selected, any data that has already been analyzed with the selected Analytics Engine for the included clients will be erased from the Analytics Engine as part of the analytics job. If the analytics job fails, analytics data will still be erased.

Save as Script
Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.
When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding XML parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
