Use the settings to filter, customize, or change the view for the information in the File and Email Analytics reports.

The settings that are available differ for each type of analytics report.

Tag Reports

Use tags to organize the Reports page into categories that make sense for you. You can group reports based on any categories that you choose to create. Reports that are not tagged appear under the Untagged category.

  1. Hover over the report icon, and then click the down arrow button .
  2. Click Tag.

    The Tag List dialog box appears.

  3. To add the report to an existing category, in the Add Tag box, select or type the name of a category that already appears in the Reports page, and then click Add.

    A tag is added for the category that you specified.

  4. To create a new category, in the Add Tag box, type the name of a category, and then click Add.

    A tag is added for the category that you specified.

  5. To delete the report from an existing category, next to the category name, click the delete button .

    The category tag is removed from the list.

  6. If you want all users to see the report in the categories that you specified, select Apply Tag changes to all users.
  7. Click Save.

    The report appears in the categories that are specified in Tags dialog box.

View Summary

To view the summary information for the selected client, client group, or email server:

  • Click the View Summary button.

Additional Filters

To select filters for the information in the current data view:

  1. Click the Filter button.
  2. Select the mailboxes or attachment filter to include in the data view.
  3. Click Apply.

Customize Categories

To modify the values for the y-axis in the chart view:

  1. Click the Customize Categories button.

    From here, you can:

    • Type or select new values of a range to display in the graph.
    • Remove a range by clicking the minus button.
    • Add a range by clicking the plus button, up to a maximum of 6.
  2. Click Apply to save your changes and update the graph.

View Chart

To toggle between the Listing View and Chart View for the selected data:

  • From the Listing View, click the View Chart button.

View Mailboxes/View Data

To toggle between the Listing View and Chart View for the selected data:

  • From the Chart View, click the View Data/View Mailbox button .

    The Listing View appears with the following information:

    For File Analytics

    • The full path of each file
    • The date when each file was last modified
    • The size of each file

    For Email Analytics

    • Mailbox owners
    • The size of each mailbox in the current data view

Information in the listing view can be sorted by clicking on the column titles.
