Data Cube Formatter Options

You can apply formatters to the columns in a data source to format the data according to certain types.

Name Description Options
None Does not apply formatting to the values. None.
Boolean Applies Boolean formatting to the values. Display values as true/false or numeric (0/1).
Cell Highlighter Applies color formatting to cells that match specific rules. Select the type of data in the cell (numeric or string), and then add one or more formatting rules to compare against the value of the cell. If the value matches the specified criteria, then the cell will be formatted accordingly.
Date Applies date formatting to values of a cell.
  • DD-MM-YYYY: Day, numeric month, year.
  • DD-MMM-YYYY: Day, abbreviated name of month, year.
  • MM-DD-YYYY: Numeric month, day, year.
  • Do-MMM-YYYY: Numeric day with ordinal suffix (1st, 2nd, 3rd), abbreviated name of month, year.
  • DD-MM-YYYY HH:mm:ss: Day, numeric month, year, hours, minutes, seconds.
Link Turns the value into an hyperlink to a webpage. You can enter a static URL, or use the column name surrounded by curly braces {} as a parameter in the URL. For example, http://www.yoursite.com/{columnName} will format as a link with {columnName} replaced in the URL by the value of the cell.
Number Applies numeric formatting using commas to make large number more easily readable. None.
Row Highlighter Applies color formatting to rows with values that match specific rules. Select the type of data in the cell (numeric or string), and then add one or more formatting rules to compare against the value of the cell. If the value matches the specified criteria, then the row will be formatted accordingly.
Size Transform size data from one value to another. Select a original size, such as kilobytes or megabytes, and then select the size that you want to be displayed. The values will be converted and displayed with the selected size label.
