Bypassing Operation Rules at Higher Levels

If you are creating an operation window rule at a level beneath the CommServe or Client Computer Group, you can choose to bypass any operation window rules configured at higher levels.

Note: The Ignore Operation Window Rules at Higher Levels check box is not available for operation rules set at the schedule policy level.

Procedure

  1. Right-click the entity, and then click All Tasks > Operation Window.
  2. From the Operation Window dialog box, click the Ignore Operation Window Rules at Higher Levels check box.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.

All operation window rules configured at levels above the entity you selected will be ignored.

  4. Click Close.

  2. Under the Data section, click Job Management.
  3. In the General tab of the Job Management dialog box, select the Allow running jobs to complete past the operation window check box.
  4. Click OK.
