Deployment for OpenStack
The Virtual Server Agent is installed on a Linux or Windows virtual machine in the OpenStack region that contains the instances or images to be protected. The instance with the VSA installed is referred to as a VSA proxy, and is used to perform backup and recovery operations for instances and images.
One or more VSA proxies can be deployed for each region in a OpenStack deployment. All VSA proxies associated with an OpenStack region must be added to the OpenStack virtualization client.
