Using the Privacy Setting

Use this setting to prevent administrators from viewing or downloading your data.

Note: The Privacy feature must be enabled by your administrator before you turn it on in the Web Console. Contact your administrator for additional details.

Use the following steps to turn on the privacy setting:

  1. From the Web Console, click My Data.
  2. Click the Computers tab.
  3. Click Show Details in the Actions column for the computer_name that you want to configure.
  4. On the computer summary page, in the Privacy section, toggle the privacy button to Off.
  5. In the Privacy Settings prompt, enter your login password, and then click OK.

    The privacy button is set to On after the login is successful.

    Note: Turning the privacy setting off also requires you to enter your password.
